We are excited to announce important updates to our policies, effective January 1, 2025. These changes are designed to enhance the overall experience for our members and ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained facility. Please take a moment to review the new guidelines.

1. Court Booking Policies

    2-Hour Bookings:

  • Maximum of 4 players per session. No spectators allowed.

  • A request for a 5th player can be made to the admin. An additional $15.00 fee applies for the 5th player, payable at the time of booking via e-transfer to admin@westcoastpickleball.ca.

   3-Hour Bookings:

  • Maximum of 5 players per session. No Spectators.

  • If both courts are reserved, the practice court cannot be used for breaks or "bye" games unless pre-booked. Unauthorized use of the practice court will result in charges to the card on file without prior notice.

   Booking All 3 Courts:

  • Maximum booking time: 2 hours for play only (no social events).

  • Food is not permitted during 3-court bookings.

  • Facility rental charges will apply if this policy is not followed.

    1-Hour Bookings:

  • If an available 1-hour slot falls between two 2-hour bookings, you may request to reserve it.

  • Only 4 players are allowed for 1-hour bookings.

2. Spectator and Social Event Policies

  • Spectators are not permitted in the facility.

  • Social Events: All social events, including those with food, require the reservation of all 3 courts. This ensures adequate space for both play and socializing. Facility rental charges will apply, and bookings must be made in advance.

3. Session Time

End of Session:

  • Players must conclude their session on time, even if the next group has not arrived or the court is not booked afterward.

  • Exceeding reserved time will result in automatic charges to the booking person without prior notice.

Extra Hour Requests:

  • If you wish to extend your session by an hour, at least 1 hour’s notice is required Requests will be accommodated based on availability.

4. Footwear Policy

  • Indoor Shoes Only: Players must change into indoor shoes inside the facility. Outside shoes are not permitted beyond the main maintenance area.

  • Responsibility: The booking person is responsible for ensuring their group adheres to this footwear policy.

5. Facility Access and Security

  • Entry: The person booking the court must enter using the open door tab to check in. Do not knock on the door for entry.

  • Door Use:

  • Do not leave the door open or ajar; this triggers alerts and causes the door access system to beep and sets off the alarm system.

  • Do not open unauthorized doors; this triggers alerts to the management team.

6. Bag Storage

  • Please use the provided cubbies for bag storage. Bags left in the front sitting area obstruct players from getting ready for the next session.

7. Facility Monitoring and Compliance

  • The facility is monitored 24/7 during all booking times by our facility manager.

  • Non-compliance with these policies may result in membership cancellation.

8. Food and Beverages

  • No coffee or hot drinks are allowed past the main entrance area due to past incidents of spills not being cleaned up.

  • No food is allowed on the courts.

9. New Initiatives

  • WhatsApp Group: We are creating a WhatsApp group for players to connect and coordinate games.

  • Mini Pickleball Showdowns: Exciting tournaments are coming soon!

  • Special Clinics: Advance your pickleball skills with our upcoming clinics.

10. Security

  • Our facility operates 24 hours a day.

  • Courts are monitored via camera surveillance

We take immense pride in our facility and are committed to maintaining a welcoming and clean environment for all members.
